Legal grounds of our processing

1. We will only process your personal data if there is a legal basis to do so. Under GDPR, there are 4 obligations that we use.

2. Consent (Art. 6 (1) a) of the GDPR)  þ – If you agree to our processing. This will be clear when we ask for it. You are also able to withdraw your consent at any time.

3. Contractual obligation (Art. 6 (1) b) of the GDPR)  4 – If we have a contract with you, we will need to store and use some information about you.

4. Legal obligation (Art. 6 (1) c) of the GDPR) § – If there is a law forcing us to process your personal data, we have to comply.

Balance of interests (Legitimate interest) (Art. 6 (1) f) of the GDPR) ⚖ – Legitimate interest allows us to process personal data if it is necessary for our legitimate interests and your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms do not outweigh our interest. We will inform below if we do such processing and what interests we pursue. 

We have marked all processing activities described below, so that you can easily see and understand what our legal grounds are.

Deletion of your personal data
We will generally delete your personal information as soon as we no longer require it for the purposes for which we collected it. If any legal obligation stops us from deleting your information for a certain time, we will stop access to this information, store it securely and delete it after our legal obligation is over.

In case of processing based on your consent, we will delete information as soon as you revoke your consent.

This Website

When using our website, certain personal information will be transferred to our servers automatically. This is necessary to provide you with the website. For example, our servers need to know your IP-Address to know where to send information.

Informational use
If you simply use our website to get information, we will automatically receive and store the following information about you:

This information is necessary for us to present you our website and show all our products and services. We have a legitimate interest to present our company with a modern looking website. As we only collect necessary information, there is no technical way for us to limit the kinds of information we receive.

We use an external hosting provider to serve the website. The provider receives and stores the content data, usage data and metadata on our behalf.

We automatically delete all server-logs within 14 days. We store the logs for this time to see suspicious activities in our server and protect our infrastructure from outside attacks such as DDoS.

Contact form
If you use our contact form, we will receive and store the information you have entered additional to the information described above.
Some fields in the contact form are required. You have to fill these in to send your message.
We will use the information you have entered to respond to your message and take steps you may have requested.
We do not use the information for other purposes and delete it as soon as we have completed your request unless a legal obligation requires us to keep the information for longer.

If you do not want to give certain information, you can also enter false data. However, in some cases we will not be able to respond to your message if information is missing.

Vimeo
On some of our webpages, we embed videos from the platform Vimeo, offered by Vimeo.com, Inc., 330 West 34 Street, New York 10001, USA (“Vimeo”). When you visit our website, your visit history, search history and usage data as well as meta data as described in “Informational use” in this policy above, will be sent to Google. This also applies if you do not have a Google account. If you have an account and are logged in, your data will be linked directly to your account. When you visit the dealer locator webpage, Google Maps will prompt you to allow access to your location. If you grant this access, Google will receive your approximate location in order to show dealers near you. Else, a pre-set location will be shown, that you can change yourself.

KOKI Holdings Europe GmbH operates social media pages for the purpose of self-marketing and promotion of our products.
